About RagBag
Just have fun - playing and getting messy is good for
grown-ups too!
children naturally understand how to play 'let's pretend'
on the road to adulthood, many of us lose confidence or
develop inhibitions that block our natural creativity
I believe that some of this is is because we are set goals
focussed on achievement rather than the joy of the
journey - we are pushed either to do things well or not
at all
RagBag provides a bridge for adults to get in touch
with some of the creativity, playfulness and spontaneity
that may have gone out of our lives
starting something and feeling that we've failed can
affect our confidence and willingness to try again in the
future
there are plenty of adult education classes for learning
singing, or drawing, or dancing, or knitting...
... but some of us won't ever reach the standards we
hope for in those skills
with RagBag, create for the pure delight in the process
rather than in the search for perfection
many of our activities are purely about giving you space
and encouragement to be playful
failure is not going to happen
you will learn skills!
but our favourite RagBag outcomes are ...
smiling … laughing … trusting … attempting … relating …
wellbeing … relaxing
